This very simple but ingenious instrument will produce sounds which will attract a variety of song birds, with a twist.

The device was created in 1951 by Roger Eddy in New England and it is still being handmade today by his grandchildren - 70 years on.

It comes with a capsule of resin which will keep it calling for many years.
